Christmas Delivery Times (and the Royal Mail postal strike nightmares )
So it's getting close to the Christmas delivery cut off time, due to the strikes and backlogs (more on that in a min) Royal Mail have brought the last 1st class delivery cut off date forward to the 16th of December (a week on Friday!)
I will send any orders up to 15th Dec - then I will start posting again on the 28th December (provided there are no strikes again).
For those of you who have placed any orders over the past couple of weeks, (thank you) they will have been sent out and you should have received a dispatch email from the Slow Love Knitwear website - with a tracking number.
If you haven't received that email - please check your junk inbox before asking me for it (insert upside smiley face emoji.....)
When the tracking number says something along the lines of 'we have accepted your parcel at our local post office' with no more tracking info, that means it is in strike backlog. Unfortunately, as much as I want to - I can't provide you with anymore information at this time. It's very frustrating for me, as many of you know I really want to help you. It's just a waiting game (hence the Royal Mail bringing the cut off dates forward, they need to get through this backlog!)
I have only ever had one parcel go missing, so please just hold tight! I am very much with the Royal Mail union on strike, however I know it's hugely frustrating for you all. Thank you for your patience.
