It took me a long time to buy a Slow Love knit. I was thinking about it for a year, maybe. Because let's be real, they're not the cheapest. When I eventually took the plunge, I was blown away by the craft. Sure, they look great. But the thing that gets me is they're such a joy to wear. They have a wonderful feel and weight to them, and the materials / knit do that magic thing where you get some air through if it's a little warm AND you can keep the chill off if it's cooling down. I'm honestly obsessed. I haven't found anything better for the in-between seasons, or for layering up on cool evenings. Excited to be wearing them more regularly come Autumn. Anyway, this cardigan's my fourth buy, which should tell you everything you need to know.....

I'm so glad I took the leap and purchased this cardigan! Such a better investment than multiple sweaters that would bobble and wear out quickly. I can truly see this knit lasting the next 20 years. It's the perfect amount of just-oversized and I feel so cosy wearing it. Saving up to get it in another colour!

Such a lovely cardigan, it has great weight to it and it so soft. It keeps you warm and cool. It also goes with everything.

Every piece is very high quality and feels great to wear. That's so important to me because I've struggled over the last year or so, with my changing perimenopausal body. Lots of the clothes I've worn for years are no longer comfortable. To be able to throw on an oversized piece that's really stylish is wonderful. The cardigan is great to elevate a simple outfit, like jeans and a vest top, or to give a smart edge to a really casual look - I love to pop it on over joggers and an oversized t-shirt.

The cardigan is less oversized than the jumpers. I most frequently wear a high street size 12 and all my pieces are size 1. The cardigan is relaxed on me rather than oversized. I think a size 2 would have worked as well if I'd wanted a slouchier fit, whereas I think the size 2 in jumpers would be too oversized for my liking. If you're a long-armed person like me, the cardigan sleeves are just to the wrist.

The knit is thick, but as it's cotton, it's not immediately really hot. I know I'll be able to comfortably wear it into Spring and on cooler summer days. It's not stiff as such, but I imagine it will soften with more wear.

This cardigan has become my most worn item very quickly. It is such excellent quality, so well made, super cosy and warm. It looks fantastic with everything, and I mean everything, either with jeans, a dress, or over dungarees. It is also a gorgeous colour, not quite black, but not too grey. I have since ordered more colours as this cardigan is an absolute staple!
